My employer is transferring me from Los Angeles to Plano. My wife is a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), also called Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), and is concerned about how long it will take for her to find a job in the Dallas area and how much of a drop in pay she might have to accept (she currently makes $34/hr in LA). She has a little over 2 years of experience in LA divided between Quest and a hospital and prior to that over 6 years hospital experience in Manila and is licensed by both ASCP & AAB. Does anyone have feedback on how long it may take her to get a job in the Dallas/Plano area and about how much she might expect to make? Thanks for your help.
