The Republican National Convention rolls into town and these people vanished overnight. I had never seen Downtown so clean. The tent cities no longer existed and the homeless found other places to live. It was a amazing thing to see.

I'm interested in opening a wig shop. Is there a warehouse that sells wigs cheap for resale. If so, what are the names? I'm Oklahoma and not too familiar with Harry Hinds. Any/all information is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance :-)

Out of curiosity, is there any reason you're inquiring specifically about Harry Hines? Are strippers and prostitutes your target demographic for your wigs?

There is more to Harry Hines than strip joints and hookers. Come to think of it, I drive Harry Hines several times a week and have not seen any blatant hooking for a long time. I think those working girls have moved over to the part of North West highway that is west of 35.

That aside, there are several whole sale only businesses selling jewelery, watches, electronics, and other consumer items. This could include wigs. I would encourage her to check out the wholesalers on the north end of Harry Hines.

Harry Hines is a miles long avenue lined with pawnshops, strip joints, "adult" this and that places, a dazzling variety of questionable bars, tire shops, auto body shops and..... several strip malls dedicated to the wholesale vending of a variety of consumer items. Most of these are concentrated on the north side of Harry Hines and are marked by names such as Asian Imports Trading etc. .

When planning your trip, it might be best to spend the night in Dallas as several wholesalers may offer wigs and finding each might take time. I think they also close early. I would not recommend staying at any hotel near Harry Hines. One in particular seems to be an open air drug emporium. Instead, look for a hotel by DFW.

Also, dont let the businesses of ill repute scare you. Harry Hines is very safe during day light hours for legitimate business people and shoppers. At the same time, those actively looking for trouble can probably find it there.

There is one perfume shop on that road. My colleague buys from there regularly. They sell then with repackaging or something. But they are suppose to be originals. Let me put it this way, you have more chance of getting fake perfumes from Amazon than Harry Hines blvd.
