Default Buying a house in Whitehouse, Tx-No Credit

I'm interested in buying a house in Whitehouse , Tx area. I have no credit at all, but I do have a couple hospital bills on my credit record, I make around $50,000 per year, Does anyone have any recomendations, as far as First time home buyers programs, or any other information would br appreciated thanks, Moderator cut: contact info should be in profile

I think FHA loans do not require a particular credit history. Might look at that.

Can't really help you out with your first time buyer question, sorry, but if I may ask why Whitehouse? I can't imagine a $50,000.00 per year job there - are you commuting to Tyler? If so, there may be other surrounding towns where your housing dollar will buy you more.

get some credit history since you have hospital bills that are probably a negative...that would be my suggestion---only person who is really kind of desperate would sell to someone w/o credit---unless there was a personal connection to validate the strenth of the buyer's finances...
