My better half can't cook thanksgiving meal this year due to some health issues. I've assigned side dishes to family & friends and kept turkey for myself. As big day is coming closer, task is looking scarier and daunting. Please recommend a place that sells yummy oven roasted turkies. I want to make Mom Proud.

Don't have any advice on buying one already roasted for you except that at best you may find one to warm up the next day. Might be some place that does this though. But roasting a turkey at home doesn't have to be hard. Just buy a fresh turkey a day or two before the big day, then get some oven roasting bags and follow directions. You can do it! Make your family proud!

I suggest that you buy two. Cook one this week for practice. Feed your office a free lunch.

If you're open to a smoked turkey, Lockhart Smokehouse will do one for you.

I'm sure the cooked/smoked ones are good, but I'd say just follow the advice above , get fresh turkey and oven bag, and it is very simple. Follow the instructions, put some flour in the bag. Olive oil (or butter if you prefer that and your cholesterol is good!) and salt on the turkey and then it just cooks on its own. Actually, the sides are more challenging, if done from scratch, but you said it is taken care off.

Don't forget the stuffing! That's the best part IMHO!
