Some shots of the construction of the new Dallas Cowboys stadium. If you look closely in some of the shots you can see little tiny ants that are construction workers (for example, the very top of the second shot).







The big white rectangle will be a giant video screen:








Just for some scale, I did a crop on the workers in the last shot:

Very good pics! I drive by the new stadium all the time and it always seems to amaze me! I can't wait to see it when it is done!

Default 2009 Monthly Home State Photography Contest - January's is open!

For all of our great Dallas Forum photographers, the 2009 Monthly Home State Photography Contest for January is open in the Photography Forum!

Some Rules:
- You may submit two photos through the end of each monthly contest.

- A winner will be selected for each month, then an overall 2009 winner will be selected from these 12 monthly winners at the end of the year.

- All photos must be taken fresh in the month they are submitted and can be a photo of anywhere in Texas, not just limited to the Dallas area.

- Please see thread
~*~ January 2009 in your Home State Contest ~*~ in the Photography Forum for all the details on how to enter and submit your photos.


We'd love to have Texas represented, so your participation would be greatly appreciated!

Wow. great pics.

I had a business trip in Dallas in December. It was the first time that I have ever spent more than a couple of days in town.

Very nice place...I'd love to live there. It seemed cleaner than a lot of other southern and north-eastern cities where I've lived in the past.

You folks that live there are lucky.
