Default More pics of the area

North Garland Ave going towards 190 from Arapaho Rd

Soccer fields at N. Garland Ave & Arapaho

Hawaiian Falls Waterpark on N. Garland Ave - across from soccer fields.
In the background all of the trees are part of the Spring Creek Preserve. The rooftops you see closest are the one set of apartments in that area. Beyond is 190 and SuperTarget, SuperWalmart, etc
This is on N. Garland Ave coming the other direction from Richardson (fyi, in Richardson the street changes names to Northstar)

Traveling on Northstar in Richardson towards Renner coming up to Stinson Elem.

Renner Rd in Richardson

Near the intersection of Renner and Murphy

From the Breckenridge Park area looking west towards 75

Breckinridge Park

N. Garland Ave going towards Richardson. See the white fence on the left side of the road? That entire area on that side belongs to the Holford Ranch. It will never be developed.

Holford

Looking west from 190 towards Richardson. Most of that area is part of the Spring Creek Preserve

Heading north on 75-Central in Richardson coming up to the Bush Turnpike/190

These were taken about 9 in the morning this week. All that traffic going south

Default I-30 in Rockwall and Lake Ray Hubbard

Here are a few from I-30 in Rockwall and Lake Ray Hubbard

coming into Rockwall on 30 from Garland

Hwy 205 & Hwy 276 (about 50' from I-30 ). Straight ahead on 205 will take you to McClendon-Chisholm, turn left onto 276 and head to Quinlan.

Looking into Rockwall from I-30 coming from Royce City

Going west on I-30 coming out of Rockwall and over Lake Ray Hubbard. Yes, that is the the Downtown Dallas skyline in the background.

All these years and this was THE FIRST TIME EVER that I have seen a train on that track. LOL!!!

Coming back into Garland on Rowlett Rd from Rowlett. Whew, made it home....

Now for some pics of the lake in Tawakoni.

Default Lake Tawakoni area

This is so sad. A lake w/ no water

This is Hwy 276 coming out of Rockwall going towards Quinlan. All of you that want a lot of land/large lot but not for a lot of $$$, head this way. There are TONS of developments along here.

Downtown Quinlan

They must of hit the big time as Quinlan is getting a new SuperWalmart. Supposed to open later this month. As long as the Dairy Queen does not shut down.

Coming into the big town of West Tawakoni. More beer/liquor stores than there are people.

The Tawakoni Golf Club

Don't blink, it's East Tawakoni

Yes folks, all that USED to be covered in water. The smoothest water on the lake. Best place to waterski. Never crowded.
