Default Looking for Lifestyle communities in Richardson and all surrounding areas.

We are relocating to The Richardson area and know nothing about the area. We are looking for nice safe reasonably priced communities with good schools. We were wondering if they had any lifestyle communities there? Neighborhoods with walking trails, shopping, restaurants, parks, schools, etc. all in a close proximity. We are open to living anywhere within a reasonable driving distance to Richardson. I was born in the Dallas Forth Worth area. but have not been back since I was a child. . We are planning to visit in the near future so any help would be greatly appreciated! We currently live in Mississippi which we do not care for at all!!Prior to that we lived in Atlanta. Texas is where we are planning on making a permanent home. Thanks!

Default Hullo from Richardson

We live in Richardson - actually on the border of Richardson and Dallas. My children attend school in the Richardson Independent District which has a better reputation than other ISD's.

We have everything within our reach - good schools, supermarkets, walking/biking trails, many good restaurants. It is a quiet, safe neighborhood with no major security problems and there are quite a few homes for sale. Most houses are priced in the $180 000 - $220 000 range. There are also several recreation centers in the neighborhood.

I work downtown Dallas and my commute is 30 minutes on a good day. I can take either Highway 75 or the Toll Road to work. There is also a Dart Rail station in the area.

that called Master planned communities. Stonebridge Ranch. Lone Star Ranch, Craigs Ranch, Starwood are some in Frisco. What is your price point?

Check out Canyon Creek and Prairie Creek in Richardson. They are both nice areas of Richardson with larger lots, nice trees, parks, and great schools.

I hate to be offensive (really I do) but I would run so fast from any contrivance called, "a lifestyle community"

You might be interested in some of the homes in east Richardson by Breckenridge Park off of Renner Road. That area inparticular, seems to me what your looking for.
