Go to a club, bar, or join a church group or something like that. or if you guys are going to school, thats the way to do it.

Default Wii Game Console, where to find????

Anybody in retail have any inside information on where I can get a Wii game console or at least if a new shipment of Wii's will come in before Christmas? I've been to Best Buy, Circuit City, Walmart, CompUSA, GameStop, but no luck. I live in San Antonio, but have family near Richland area coming down for Christmas.

www.wiitracker.com

We found ours on there before *last* Christmas I had no idea they'd be this hard to find a year later.

Default Shipping Tamales?

Ok sorry if the spelling is wrong on 'Tamales'.
It may be to late for this but I was curious if anyone knew of a local company who ships out these little bundles of goodness. I think it would be fun to have them as appetizer for our family's holiday meals back in Atlanta. It could possible help win over my family members that are not to thrilled about me living so far away. At this point I will just be happy if my grandparents kinda smiled when I said 'TEXAS.
Thanks everyone!

I just ordered some tamales locally here in the DFW area...froze them good and hard and boxed them up with some of those blue cold packs and just Fed-Ex overnighted them to my sister up in Pennsylvania so she can get her 'fix' also! I'll be bringing home quite a few dozen for myself from my parents in SA that should last me throughout the year. My mother buys them from a local maker down there and they're terrific.
Growing up in SA, it's not Christmas to me without them.

You can do what I did..buy some locally and Fed Ex them frozen...just wrapped them in plastic and newspaper and added the blue ice packs and boxed them good and tight.

Default Need your insihts on Dallas

I will be relocating from the Chicago area to Dallas after the first of the year and was hoping for some insights :

1/ Where are the best High Schools ? Is Coppell High a good school ?
2/ What are the best areas to consider for a family ?
3/ What the pros and cons of life in Dallas ?
4/ What do people do for fun on the weekends ? What type of diversions are there ?
5/ Is most of the population in Dallas home grown Texans or are there a good number of transplanted out of staters ?

I appreciate your insights .

Thanks

Does it matter? I mean, would you prefer a new experience with real native Texans or do you just want to find a "home away from home" without immersing yourself in our culture? You can actually do either depending on where in the area that you relocate.
