Bargain Hunting Shopping In Dallas (Plano, Garland: sales, home, bankrupt)

Here are a few sales that I know about going on or coming up. Also, for the ladies, if you have not discovered Sam Moon - DO!!!!!!! Right now during the week it is not near as bad as it will be in another week or so. Even the one in Frisco is VERY doable (went today ).

Sam Moon - Two locations in Dallas and Frisco. Dallas is on Harry Hines/Old Denton Dr just north of LBJ. Frisco store is on Preston Rd in the northwest corner at Preston & 121. They also own a home furnishings store and luggage store. You can easily find their website online.

Central Falls - Ladies warehouse clothing sale. There is one this Friday & Satruday (Nov 30 & Dec 1). This sale all of their Fall & Winter stuff will be 50% off. Good prices even before their sales but w/ 50% off - WOO-HOO! They are located on Miller Rd right at Jupiter on the northwest side. Very small brown nondescript building w/ a small pole sign that just says, "Central Falls". Parking in the rear and enter thru the double brown metal doors on the backside of the building.

Doll Clothes and Furniture - "Dolls by Doris". These fit the 18" dolls even the American Girl dolls and priced MUCH lower. She is at most craft fairs and was at the Plano Junior Leagues "Neath the Wreath". She is having a sale this week located at 2110 Drake Dr in Richardson, 75081. Thurs Nove 29 10-4, Fri Nov 30 10-4 and Sat Dec 1 10-2.

Sharon Young is another ladies warehouse clothing sale. I believe her sale was a few weeks ago but this is one to keep your eyes peeled for.

There are some GREAT bargains out there that REALLY do save a TON of money and you get some GREAT quality products.

Thanks! I love Sam Moon!! I had no idea what it was the first time I saw the signs though. I wish my daughter were into American Girl dolls because they are cute (she's never been into dolls or Barbies--but hair accessories and arty stuff).

Star Decorator Wholesale is closing up I'm gonna cry......
This is THE PLACE to go for Christmas decorations, home furnishings (no furniture), floral picks, floral arrangements, candles, etc. They also own Michaels so after 15 years they are closing to concentrate on that (I MUCH prefer Star over Michaels). It was ONLY open to the trade and you had to be a member to get in. Since they are trying to liquidate their merchandise they are NOW OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!. The stuff here you will find in some of the boutiques and such for much more. I was planning on going myself this week but have just not had the time. Several friends have gone and said they found A LOT! Be prepared as this is the place you can spend HOURS just looking. Not a fun place for kids that get bored though. They are in Dallas right off of I35 Stemmons Frwy at Empire Central. If your coming from the north on Stemmons you will exit at Empire Central and they will be right behind the gas station on the corner.

For the ladies that are into handbags, there is an online place that you can join and pay $5 a month and get to have your pick of top of the line designer handbags at your disposal. It is called bagborroworsteal. Right now they are even having a holiday sale w/ gently used bags for some remarkable savings.

Don't know. I don't shop there as their return policy stunk and I never really did find bargains on things I REALLY wanted or needed.

Well, the last time I went, they'd changed the return policy, i.e., you could actually return something & get a refund... but I haven't been in a long time either.
