Hi

We are close to buying a house in Ridgeview at panther creek which sits on the border of frisco & mckinney but currently zoned to frisco schools. We are aware that within frisco ISD, your home can get zoned to different schools but the concern is more about the home getting rezoned to mckinney ISD [the home address is frisco and currently zoned to frisco]. Does that happen?

Insights will be of great help! Thanks!!

No this does not happen. School district boundary's are set and almost impossible to move.

No. You do not change ISDs without some extraordinary situation.

ISDs, in addition to being school districts, are taxing entities. Therefore, they are not going to let a taxable property leave the district.
