Late 40's been all over Uptown the past 7 years.

Never felt out of place, yes I may be above the average but I like the area.

I think that many of the writers here have excellent points. Just a general rule to follow:
- Hanging out in the southern portion of Uptown (especially south of Hall Street) is going to GENERALLY be more just recently out of school professionals.
- Living in the northern portions (especially by the nearby Turtle Creek area and anything north of Blackburn) will mean a more mature crowd.
- Knox Henderson is a great area, with quick access to Uptown. But, it's not really a part of Uptown officially, at least now. Also, the free Trolley doesn't connect there, so for walking to other parts of Uptown, Knox Henderson living means a drive. A quick one, but still a drive. But, with Uptown running out of building space, it's a matter of time before the Uptown portion that ends at Blackburn starts to revigorate this area with newer dwelling places. One day the West Village area to Knox will all be filled in as much as possible with restaurants and shops is my belief.

Hope that helps!
