Does anyone know any stores in the North Dallas / Addison / Plano / Carrollton / Frisco area that carry Yogourmet Freeze Dried Yogurt Starter? I've been buying it for years at the Whole Foods store at Preston and Park in Plano, but they no longer carry it. Whole Foods carries a different brand now, but I'd prefer to stick with what I know and like.

I checked with Trader Joe's, Central Market, Sprouts, GNC, Tom Thumb, Kroger, and a couple of others. Several stores told me they used to carry it but no longer did.

I can mail order it over the internet, but I'd prefer to buy it at a local store, if possible.

Thank you. I had tried that too. They tried to help me, but they could only suggest all the stores I'd already checked. The one thing they told me that I hadn't thought of was to ask the store manager at Whole Foods or Sprouts to special order it for me. Both of those stores are pretty accommodating, usually, so that might work.

Success! The Natural Grocers store at Preston and Forest had the Yogourmet starter. Interestingly, the one closer to me in Richardson didn't have it.

Sprouts in Plano and finally Whole Food in Allen has the product back on the shelf since last month.
