A good friend of mine lives there and really likes it. They did not want much yard to take care of and commuting was not an issue for them. The pools and amenities are amazing for a really reasonable HOA fee. It feels a little far out there to me, but with the Tollway, you can get to plenty of retail and restaurants in Frisco & Plano within 15 minutes. There is also a big development coming along 380 and the Tollway called Frisco North that will have a huge Cinemark and a bunch of other stuff.
