Mitsuwa is coming soon to Plano/Frisco area somewhere close to Toyota. I heard it from a Japanese client who talked to the broker involved. I can't wait either since I grew up in west LA. Their food court has one of the best ramen shop

I just wish we will have a proper Japanese Ramen shop (the real thing) here in Plano after Toyota moves.

The current Japanese grocery, Shop Minoya, is in Plano. Shop Minoya - Plano, TX - Yelp

What do you think of it?

I'm excited this: Japan-Based Daiso Opens First Texas Location in Metro Dallas | REBusinessOnline
It is always one of my fave stops in Japantown in SF.

It's a cute little shop....However selections are more limited and prices are much higher than Mitsuwa.... For example the same made in Japan toothbrush costs $5 at Mitsuwa but $6 at Minoya...
I do think that is understandable as the costs of buying and shipping in small volumes tend to be higher...

Not really a secret any more, the new Mitsuwa will be located near Legacy and Hwy 75 in Plano
