If you consider the huge economic incentives Texas can throw to Tesla, no state income tax for employees, great logistics infrastructure (DFW metroplex especially), easy air travel via DFW (non-stop, no connections, basically any 250K+ US city and most major international cities), I would vote they go to DFW area.

In light of Plano "winning" Toyota, you may see Fort Worth, Dallas, etc fight even harder for Tesla

Tesla mentioned is that their Mega Factory has to be closed to Rail Road.

That would be Fort Worth if that's the case. The Fort Worth city council should be hopping on this.
