Didn't realize that meant $425/br. I think there has to be at least one complex somewhere in CISD at $850/br, but I could be mistaken. $425 is probably not going to happen.

Yes, regarding the reviews, but the number ratings on Greatschools (i.e 7/10, 10/10) are entirely based on test scores. Of course, test scores tell you more about demographics than anything else, perhaps. Check the TEA ratings (exemplary, recognized, etc.) too.

None of these resources will tell you objectively about the quality (or lack thereof) of the curriculum. But you probably want your kid to go to school with other kids who are mostly competent and who have parents who care about them doing well in school, so...test scores are not a bad measure in that regard, I suppose, and are the closest thing to an objective measure parents have.

In addition to the TEA website and Greatschools, this is another useful source of information, with quite a bit of data; however, I think the info is 3-4 years out of date by now:
