Does anyone know of any regular (hopefully weekly) new wave nights anywhere in the metroplex?

I wish there was, but I can't think of anything. Hailey's in Denton use to have a really good 80's night. It's been so long since I've gone to Denton, so I can't really vouch for it. If you could take a time machine back to the 80's, you'd be in heaven at the Starck Club.

Your best bet for a weekly event will be at the Lizard Lounge on Thursdays & Sundays - called The Church on those nights. Good dose of 80s/New Wave.

The Gary Numan show was great , and the evening ended at the bar next door where they also played 80's music. The Granada theater has plenty of shows in the new wave style regularly. Check also The Trees in Deep Elum.

Thanks for the leads! The Church seems a bit more dark-wavey than I'd like, but is basically what I'm looking for. Won't be living in DFW until July, but was just hoping that something could replace what we have at Neo in Chicago.
