Right now it is underutilized , not because of slow drivers but rather because the HOV lanes are death trap. My hubby saw too many serious accidents on a regular basis. You have to be insane to use them, people get in and out of them anywhere and anytime. They can charge people , the rest of us won't care!

As long as they keep it north of 635, I'm fine with it.

The 75 HOV lane north of 635 has always been useless. It's poorly labled so nobody knows where it goes or where the exits are, so this might actually be an improvement. At least now people won't be running over those plastic dividers and swerving into the left lane anymore.

I think they should just open the lanes up...about like adding an additional lane to each side.

We need to just raise the gas tax to pay for our roads. We already have too many tollroads.

precisely. Not against the toll lanes, but this is getting ridiculous.

I'm so glad to hear from a few like minded folks. Its a breath of fresh air in this anti tax climate but I urge you to call your local and state representatives. They hear from the other side all the time and when people like us don't make pour voices heard they think we don't exist. You would be surprised what a difference a phone call makes.
