Developer Jack Matthews is eyeing a redo of downtown’s landmark Dallas High School | Dallas Morning News

"The Old Dallas High School was built in 1907 and has been vacant about 20 years."

"The Old Dallas High School has long been considered one of the most threatened landmarks in downtown Dallas. It’s also one of the few historic, vacant properties in the center city that hasn’t already been converted into a new use."

No, this isn't earth-shattering. But it's a part of Dallas's history, and it's fantastic that they're not tearing it down for a parking lot, or another skyscraper with a huge setback that has the street appeal of a fortress.
