I hadn't been there in about 4 years, and man have things improved there. Nice spot to hang out for an afternoon and catch a meal and do a little shopping. Nice and cozy.

While I lived there the place was still coming back up. About the only thing there for a long time was Oline's, Vito Italian, and the Antique house across from those places. On the corner of Davis and Bishop, a bar/restaurant called Twilight went into the old Oak Cliff Auto supply store. It was a great place, good food, great bar, I even played a few solo jazz gigs there. The place suddenly burned to the ground one morning, arson.

They rebuilt but it was never the same. I don't know if it continued. Looks like a bunch of new shops on that Bishop strip. Too bad they can't do something with nasty Bob's Market across Davis.
