Brooklyn? What? Give me a city like Dallas with loads of make-up, Big Hair, Big Bodies and people of Mexican descent... you can have New York with the terrorists who killed 3,000 PEOPLE across the river from Brooklyn... some fat, some black, some skinny, some jewish, some white, some with make-up, some without ... all innocent. All victims of living in a city where you have to fear for your life ... EVERY DAY.

Believe me, I know. I lived in Bay Ridge. I was also standing on sixth ave the day the towers fell. Anyone who is enamoured by a place where you pay Thousands of dollars in rent for an aparment with only hundreds of square feet and have to worry about dying in the subways, on the streets or in the building you work because you are in a city that represents the excesses (good or bad) that the terrorists despise ... well, I'll take Dallas' big hair and Big Butts over bombs any day.
I really hope you weren't there.

Default Bayridge

We live in bayridge now(have for past 15 yrs) and we are so open for a chance to move.So where in Dallas is the best place in your opinion to rent for about a year till we decide to buy,and yes I was in the tower 1 at the time of impact(retired N.Y.P.D.).We have 2 children a 2 /12 yr old and month old so schools aren't really that important yet (2 1/2 will be attending The Da Vinci school wherever that is).Wife has own vehicle so she will be fine and I will be working out of The Crescent building on Crescent Court.Great to hear you love Dallas and I expect us to love it also.

Wow, how did you get a spot in the Da Vinci school? That's a tough place to get in. They used to take like 6 new 18 month old kids every year and that's it. The school is near Presby-Dallas Hospital near Walnut Hill and Central which is in North Dallas and sortof near the Lake Highlands neighborhood.

Are you open to renting a house or duplex instead of an apartment?

Yeah, it was about 10+ years ago when I tried to get a kid in there and failed. I'm not even sure they are at the same location anymore.
