They're moving to Arlington. They were in Irving before. They'll still be called the Dallas Cowboys.

Look, the Dallas Cowboys will be just fine no matter where they play. It's still going to be a legendary franchise and nothing is going to change with the image of the team. Only the place their home games are being played will change.

Well, considering they never were in Dallas to begin with since I've been here ('80)... I wouldn't expect any name changes! While their training camp is/has always been in Valley Ranch (Irving) and the old stadium is also located in Irving... playing at a new stadium in Arlington (not Ft. Worth) won't be much of a change... except for a much longer commute to/from their games from Dallas and the northern suburbs.

Arlington is a suburb of Fort Worth, not Dallas, so I could imagine a name change.

They would NEVER change their name. The name is synonomous with "legendary" and they would never do that. And I'm not even a huge Cowboy fan but I do realize the obvious.

How so?? They seem to be two big cities that just happen to be close to one another.
