Probably around 3k a year. Plus or minus a couple hundred.

Entity Rates and Exemptions

Tax Rates

You'll need to look up City, County, CCCCD and ISD to get the total tax rate. Dallas County also has a tax for Parkland that you'll pay as well.

I sent you a DM with a link which has property taxes for all the cities in DFW metroplex. I cannot post it here since the link is from a realtor's website.

Because of the county.

Grand Prairie has higher property taxes than in Plano - why?
Because Plano's property taxes are offset by higher median property prices, more corporate tax income, and more retail and sales tax income. Check Highland Park, the lowest on the list.

I believe the 'robin hood' rules for school district taxing may have some impact on Plano as well (ie, they don't get 100% of extra taxes levied, therefore they don't raise them) but I'm not sure how much.

Google it; you'll be able to find it.

Also, a word of caution on Richardson; the county and ISD taxes will be different if you're in Collin County vs Dallas County. Richardson straddles the county line.

I would think a $125k home in the Richardson or Plano ISD would be difficult to find up your way.
