I need to take my wife to the drivers license office for her to take the written exam. Unfortunately, due to our work schedule, we can only do it in the afternoon (4:30), and we have to do it on a Tuesday, where the most office close at 6pm, instead of 5pm. assuming I pick her up from her work place between 4:45 to 5:00, where is the closest drivers license office we can go to? Considering traffic, I want to be able get in the door, and and stand in line, so they will let her take the test (in the past, I believe the offices are willing to stay after hours as long as you get in before they close...not sure if that is the same with examinations).

I'll be coming from around the intersection of Victory and Olive (near the AA center, I believe). Where is the quickest drivers license office?

You cant go there and get out quickly. It will take several hours. There is one in garland called mid center or something like that you can register online or thru phone and they will call you and give your in line status how many ahead of you etc. I went there last week to get my license took like an hour since there was a 35 mnts wait since I didn't register early enough. If not you could go in and out May be in 20 mnts.
