I am curious if anyone has had any experience with corporate housing in the Las Colinas or Coppell area. I'm starting a job later this month and have a place for a couple of months, but I'm anticipating needing more time in order to sell my home and find a new one.

Any recommendations, cost information or experiences that you can share would be appreciated. Also, did you go through a corporate housing company or directly with an apartment complex?

Here are a few choices in Las Colinas w/Four Seasons most likely the highest and BudgetSuites or Homestead Suites the lowest:

AmeriSuites
BudgetSuites
Comfort Suites
Extended Stay Deluxe Hotel
Four Seasons
Hampton Inn
Homestead Studio Suites
Residence Inn
Summerfield Suites

For a furnished apartment, you might try apartmentlocators.com -- it's a free service to you.

My husband stayed at apartments called La Villita - (royal & riverside?) They are nice, he had a 6 mos lease.

Thank you both. I'm really looking more for a furnished apartment for a short term. Although I'm afraid that it might be a lot more expensive (i.e. $100+ a day for 30 days) than I've paid in the past.

Spree - I'm familiar with La Vilita (I was living in Irving when they started that development). Do you have any idea what kind of rate he got on a 6 mo. lease? I'm thinking finding a 6 mo. lease and bringing my own bed and sofa may be more cost effective. Thanks.

new2 - he had a corporate relo and they furnished the apartment for him, but I think it was around $900 unfurnished (1 bed/1 bath).
