Default Need some honest feedback about racism please...

Can someone give me feedback on whether this will be a factor for us in Texas? We're a multicultural family (British/Caribbean) I've looked at the demographic statistics. Will our color be an issue? We're looking at the surburbs surrounding DFW area. Thanks!

The British part would be more of an issue than the Caribbean...

You'll be fine. The majority of the popoulation here doesn't care about your ethnic background. There are neighborhoods where you would be less tolerated. And there are always going to be people with Cranial-Rectal Inversion issues that will give you flak for "not sticking with your own race."

I do wonder sometimes what the socio-economic/educational statistics look like for the above group compared with the individuals arrested for having improper relations with their pets.....

LOL!!! I have to agree. The only ones that would have a problem are those that have their own issues. In large cities like Dallas and the suburbs, it is a mixed bag of everything. I think we are more of a melting pot over most of the country. But seriously, those that usually have issues tend to be of the same race as one of the couples that did not "stick to their own race".

By the way, their not pets if they don't have a name. Most tend not to give names to their livestock.
