I know this question is a long-shot but does anyone know how the HOA's in Flower Mound and Coppell compare in strictness to each other ?

Thanks

It depends on the HOA. They aren't all run by a single shadowy cabal (regardless of what some posters on here believe). The HOA in Bridlewood would be different from the HOA in Wellington, etc.

They might be run by the same "shadowy cabal" management company in which case you can expect the same problems as other subdivisions where the HOA corp. is run by that management company. Look up the subdivision, look up the management company, then search for complaints about that management company or subdivisions the management company is active in.

Even if the management company is the same, the strictness may differ depending on the direction of the board. We had the same managment company and manager as a neighboring HOA and our enforcement varied. There were items they were very strict but we were less so. Due to the way our neighborhoods evolved.
