Not opposed at all. Do you know what streets or subdivision that area is? Legacy + Independence? Hedgecoxe + Independence?

EDITED TO ADD: Found it! Thank. I like what I am seeing there! I will show my DH. That gives a good comparison.

Why not? What's the worst that could happen? They say no. They might say yes.

I've let neighbors in before to see my solatubes, my whole house fan, and my garage re-conversion. One neighbor even asked to see the asbestos in my attic, since he didn't know what asbestos pipe insulation looked like. I said "yes" every time, though I did ask to see their DLs to make sure they actually lived in the neighborhood.

Ha ha good point. Maybe when it warms up a bit I will bring em over a nice bottle of wine and intro myself! At least if they do say no it's not like I will ever see them again since I haven't seen then in the 5 yrs I have been here!

You can check Cambridge Place Complex. It's much newer and better build. It feeds to Andrews>Rice MS>Jasper>P.West

I actually saw these on Saturday ... I could have sworn it was Allen ISD but you are indeed right it is PISD. I think due to this boom we are stuck. We couldn't buy another house like this for the price we would sell for.

If they ever sell I will definitely go on over there a take a peep a the open house!
Personally that would make me nervous to overbuild for the neighborhood you are in. Currently it is a hot market, but if you make your house the nicest in the neighborhood will you get back your money?

I agree. But we need the space and we are stuck b/c we want a bigger house zoned to the same schools. To get that we would have to spend more money that it would actually take for us to make the reno/addition that we want. Trust me I would rather not go through construction. We got this house in 09 and said when our incomes rose (I had not yet started my masters degree) that we would buy something bigger. But now our incomes rose we are priced out of our school area.

Grrr
