I am a 23 year old male from Memphis moving to Dallas for a job opportunity in February. Where would the best place for a young professional to live in the Dallas area?

Where is your job? (A zip code is fine)
How long do you want to commute, in minutes, each direction?
What is your budget?

Can't help you without this crucial info.

Addison is within your range (depending on the size you want, average apartments are around 1.20/sqft for rent, some cheaper, some much more expensive), has stuff to do, bars, food, festivals etc. and surely within 20 mins of work. I've been here for 4 yrs and it's been good to me. Places further north and closer to the tollway are more expensive and generally nicer.
