Good evening,
I am a 27 year old female and I will be graduating with my bachelor's in Communication. One of the cities i'm considering to relocate to is Dallas, TX. I've been searching online but the ones that may catch my eye, has REAL bad reviews. I am looking for a 3 bedroom between the range of $700/$1200 a month. I am a single parent of a four year old daughter and making sure we are in a good environment is a top priority. My mother is also moving with us as well. I have been to Dallas numerous times while stationed at Fort Hood,TX so I am somewhat familiar with the Dallas area. Does anyone have any recommendations on what apartments I should look at? Any advice would be helpful.

You won't find ANY safe, clean 3br apartment in a good neighborhood (not a ritzy neighborhood, just one where it's safe to walk around the block & decent schools) for $1200, much less for $700! $700 is almost the low end of a safe, clean 1br apartment.

You might find something in the Bear Creek area of Euless. zip code 76039. Its a great area, safe, nice parks and has good schools. I own a townhouse there that I lease out for $1250/month and its 2 bedroom (also is leased) but sometimes there are apartments in the area in your budget. Stonebridge at Bear Creek apartments advertise 3bdrm/2 bath at $1245/mo. However, what is very important is that wherever you settle is also convenient to your work location. Living in Euless would be pretty difficult if your job ended up being in Mesquite, for example.

Do you have a job yet? That will/should determine where you are looking. DFW is huge and like Squirl says, you don't want to live on one end and work on the other end. You might consider your budget or # of bedrooms. Your budget will be tight or nearly impossible in a good area with good schools. Good luck and congrats on your graduation.
