Hello,

I'm planning to buy a master bedroom set from Weir's store (Plano location). I would like to know if they negotiate on their prices or give free delivery? Any other tips and advices are welcome.

Thanks.

Only way to find that out is to ask. I've never NOT gotten a discount AND free delivery when I've gone furniture shopping at an actual furniture store. (Ikea doesn't do discounts except on floor models.) I even get discounts at Target.

Just ask. And don't take "no" for an answer the first time. Markup on furniture is insane anyway. Be polite but persistent.

At Weir's and other furniture stores they somehow remember an upcoming sale or one that just ended they can magically apply when you are looking at a large purchase. Give it a whirl, you won't know if you don't try. I have seen more flexibility on discounting furniture vs. free delivery.

My experience with the Knox store has been that they've been willing to bend on delivery fees when I've been flexible about the delivery date. Sometimes I've had to wait a few weeks until they had another delivery for my neighborhood.
