Rosa's isn't very good. It's bland and the menu sucks. The only reason to go is Taco Tuesday, because Rosa's is a good choice at that price.

And how can you not like Taco Bell? They all but say "our food is for stoners." They have found a niche and exploit the heck out of it.

Also, anyone who doesn't like the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos has no soul.

Taco Cabana has taken off the menu chicken enchiladas and now my kids won't even consider going by. I second that Rosa's is much better for fast casual.

Stoners have bad taste in everything. Music, leisure activities, dress, hairstyles, fonts, and food. That stoners like them is a good reason not to.

And Jack N the Box is hitting the stoners demographic even harder, and at least their commericals are funny.

I had it once when I was on my way to Love Field, definitely not as good as Taco Cabana, and they serve French fries ?

Better than Taco Bell, worse than Taco Bueno. And the Taco Bell Doritos tacos, while I think it is a good idea, taste nothing like the chips!

No comparrison. They are not even in the same tier of restaraunts. Taco Cabana is pretty much genuine Tex-Mex, where as Taco Bell is an insult to Mexican food. Taco Bell is not even in the same league with Taco Bueno.

I'm lucky to live 10 minutes from 4 taco cabanas in South Austin. A couple of them are open 24 hours. Taco Cabana is pretty tough to beat for fast food genuine Tex Mex or Mexican. However the best fast food Mexican I found is Taco Palenque on 410 near Broadway in San Antonio and the one in New Braunfels on 35. Taco Palenque is quite similar to Taco Cabana, but better, in my opinion.

Taco Bell and Taco Cabana are two entirely different types of fast food Mexican. Taco Bell really should call their food something besides Mexican, or TexMex, or whatever ethnic food they claim it to be. There are towns in this country where there are virtually no Hispanics and in many of these towns, Taco Bell is the only Mexican food they know and a lot of those people think that's what genuine Mexican food is like. And that's a shame and that's also why i say Taco Bell is an insult to Mexican food.

Taco Bell will never be mistaken for Taco Cabana or any restaraunt food that is even half way genuinely Mexican.

Del Taco is exiting the DFW area, so we can drop them out of the conversation.
