Well, it certainly is a nice, happening area that is only going to get better probably. There is loads down that way to do, and many new projects are under construction. However, some of the condos seem a bit over-priced at the moment.

It's a very "luxury" area, with prices to reflect that. If that isn't a stumbling block for you, then the area might be a great fit. In my opinion, Victory has the BEST coffee house in all of DFW - Gachet Coffee. Take a trip, have some coffee, stroll around to see if you like the feel of the area. I believe the entire Victory Park area is projected to have 4,000 residents at build-out (which does not include Uptown or the Central Business District). You could check out Uptown while you're there, The West Village and areas like Knox/Hendersen (which is one of my favorite places - I'd be in so much trouble if I were walking distance to Harry's Frozen Custard).

Sounds like we'd both be broke, drunk and fat! But we'd have great furniture. I love Weir's also. Half the furniture in our house is from there.

Add to Chuy's: Taverna, Il Sole, Momo's, Toulouse... there's a sushi place there and an Indian restaurant... and Pei Wei... and Potbelly's... and... oh my, I'm drooling.

And also Fadi's! What's the Indian restaurant there?

Add me to the list of people who really like that area.
