Anybody a knitter? What's your favorite local yarn shop and/or knitting group?

I'm not too worried about the RE agent...I do my own research. My mom was an agent, so I'm pretty good regarding comps and such.

Okay, my computer break is over. I have a house to get ready to put on the market!
You'll fit in perfectly in East Dallas. Welcome to our city!

Of course there are knitting groups. :-)
The most famous is The Knitwits - they meet at the Lakewood Library every Tues at 2-4pm.

We in Lakewood like to think that we are a small town in the big city -- but we often get compared to suburbs which is why you see a lot of us disagreeing with some of the prevailing "wisdom" of others.

I also am interested in the Lakewood and White Rock Lake areas... and am moving there in the same time frame. My realtor is turning up the hunt for us at the beginning of March. So I will keep an eye open for your posts and lurk as well. I would really, really like to find a place in the 'mapped' area of the White Rock Studio Tour that happens annually, as I am a full-time artist and would like to be in on the studio tour action.

I also am interested in a more farm to table group ... or a really good farmer's market. I miss fresh eggs!
