Dallas Here We Come: What to do in Dallas???? (Fort Worth: rental, theater)

Been in Texas going on 7 years now and have only been through the airport in Dallas, so I thought I'd take the family for a weekend (3 days) here soon (FEB-MAR) and visit Dallas.

Any suggestions on what to do in Dallas with children. Any suggestions on what not to do in Dallas. Thanks.

How old are the children? In general, you have:

1) The Perot Museum of Nature and Science

2) Klyde Warren Park

3) The Dallas World Aquarium

4) The Dallas Arboretum

5) The Dallas Zoo

6) Take the free trolley from downtown (near Klyde Warren Park) to Uptown and back

7) Texas Discovery Gardens/The Butterfly Garden at Fair Park

8) Ice skating at the Galleria

9) Mesquite Rodeo (not sure if it's happening when you're here)

10) Dallas Children's Theater

11) Picnic at White Rock Lake

Then you can head over to Fort Worth for:

1) The Stockyards (where they have a rodeo every weekend)

2) Museum of Science and History

3) The Fort Worth Zoo

4) Fort Worth Botanic Garden

Add the Ft. Worth Water Garden. Kids would love going up and down all the steps.

TrueDat's list is great. I've done all of those except for #10 and they worked out well for ages 6-12.
If your children are at the upper end of that or a little older, there is the zip line adventure park. It's good for a couple hours of zip line courses.
I would also add kayak rental at white rock lake if the weather is cooperative.
