Hello, as a Houston native who is in Dallas for college, I have grown to love Salata as they are everywhere down there. Just seeing which on you prefer, thanks!

I haven't tried Salata yet but I loooooooove Snappy Salads! We have one close in Southlake. Looks like the closest location for me is FloMo and I don't get up there much.

I like Snappy Salads as well. But, to be fair, "value for money" isn't a strong point for Snappy Salads, either.

I frequent both, often. Snappy is a bit better quality, but more $$$$. On top of it being more $, you can't add as much/many items as you like. There is a cap of 8 items. I like being able to put it as much variety as I want, so I lean towards Salata. Plus, I love the chipotle bread they give you

Never been to Snappy Salads, but have frequented Salata often with coworkers.

My issue with Salata is how stingy they are on their ingredients. Yes, it's "unlimited," but they take the smallest handful and sprinkle in a few of whatever ingredient you've asked for. Often, you end up having to ask for more, and the workers frequently act put out with the request.

If you add meat & any sort of drink, you are spending 10-13 dollars, which I think warrants them being a little more generous with their servings. I say this as someone who gets only a few toppings (if you get everything on the line, I can understand why they'd put in a smaller amount of each one).

At any rate, I have ended up with salads there that have too much topping and not enough lettuce or vice versa. The wraps generally turn out okay.

Like with anything, just amusing to see the people go in there thinking they are eating "healthy" then ask for extra servings of ranch, salads loaded up with bacon, cookies with their meal, etc - one ladle of their dressing is above a standard portion size as it is. By that point, you might as well eat at a regular restaurant.

Also, maybe this goes along with their "healthy" concept, but it'd be nice to see them add a fountain soda machine. If you want a soda, you have to buy a can, and if you ask for a cup, they give you one of the small little water cups for ice.

I would rather spend the same amount and just get a pre-configured salad from Corner Bakery or Panera. They are more liberal with their ingredients anyway.

Snappy Salads obsessed! Eat there every week. I prefer it over Salata- I like Snappy's toppings better, and their bread and yummy lemon cookies.
