I'm looking to purchase a townhouse in the plano/dallas area and I was wondering where I could find that? Where can I find affordable townhouses for sale in this area?

What's affordable to you? Different people have different prices in mind.

Psh! Lol

Ideally id like à townhome that's selling for 90k or less. I'm a travel nurse and won't be living in the home much but would like somewhere that I can occasionally return to and also rent out.

Ideally, 90k or less. I did see a townhome here that was 78k but it sold, quickly, for 75k. I told another poster, but I'm a travel nurse and want something that I can rent out since I won't be around much but can also return to.

This price point is pretty low for a townhouse in a safe area. You might be able to find an apartment complex converted to condos or a small 1-bedroom condo toward the max price range you listed.

You are pretty much priced out of Uptown and the surrounding areas, so if I were you, I'd look in Far N. Dallas (North of 635). Yes, some of the areas along Spring Valley are sketchy, but I think that general area would be your best bet in that price range, solely because there are units that might actually be in that price range. It's also a convenient general area to be in.

I also know there are two former apartment complexes converted to condos at Preston & Tulane (one on each side of Preston Rd), which is the highly coveted 75093 zip code. However, the lowest price point I've seen in those complexes is low to mid 100s for a 1 bedroom.

Good luck.

A friend bought a condo near Dallas North Tollway and Keller Springs a few years ago for $65k. I'd bet in that place you can get a 1 bedroom for close to $90k. It's a converted apartment building and not terribly impressive (IMO), but it's safe and might be in your price range.

I can do low to mid 100s. I saw some townhouse in the 75074 area for 95k or less but they sold very quickly.
