Some parts of Richardson and Garland. In those areas look in and around Oakridge (community/development w/ a golf course located east of Jupiter, south of Belt Line, west of Shiloh and north of Buckingham). This is probably going to be the nicest area in the Dallas burbs that has a high asian influence. From there go west into Richardson and there are smaller pockets and you will find TONS of asian stores and such. Then Carrollton has a very, VERY diverse group and a large asian population. No specific neighborhood to recommend but pretty much all of Carrollton will give you the diversity and closeness to some asian markets and such.

There are tons of Asians in Arlington and it's not a bad commute to Dallas. We have entire grocery stores that cater to Asians here, stuff like that if that's what you mean. UTA is part of the reason for the high concentration, probably. High foreign student population. But I also think many of the Asians are families that have settled here permanently.

Arlington doesn't have a lot of Asians. My school has the most Asians out of all the high schools in Arlington, and we barely have any. This whole metro area isn't really diverse man (Blacks, Hispanics, and Whites don't count).

The 2000 Census has 11.7% of the population as Asian in Richardson..more than even Hispanics. The same census shows Arlington as being 6% Asian, while Carrollton comes in at 10.9% Asian. Plano's population is 10.2% Asian while Garland's comes in at 7.33%.
None come close to Sugar Land's 23.8% Asian population but instead are scattered all over in different suburbs up here.

I lived Dallas for four years. East Asians (Chinese/Koreans) live in West Plano or north of Plano. Plano Senior High has over 20% of Asian population. Southeast Asians live in Garland area.

Percentage wise or numbers wise? I could have sworn Sugar Land has this title, it its population is about 80,000 (should go over 100,000 by 2010).
