Your kid(s) will go to school in Frisco, which is a great City with many family oriented facilities and activities. Let your husband commute to work and you drop off kid at school (less than 5 minutes drive). If you move to other more South, both your and husband will need to drive...which I think wouldn't make sense. Rental is about the same at either places and well within your current budget. As far as Indian Community, supermarkets, restaurant, you be surprised how many Indians live by Frisco.

So should I be looking towards south or north of Frisco. I am most definitely looking in West because the commute to Denton would be a lot easier. What route should the husband take to go to Denton?? 121 and then 35 or 380? Which route is a better/easier commute and no tolls will be a plus. Once I have this figured out, I'll have an easier time looking for apartment along the route or quick access towards it.

I'd avoid 35 at all costs. Plus you could avoid tolls on 121 if you don't take 35.

380 has a lot of lights and 18 wheeler traffic, but I'd still choose it over 35. Depending on where you end up in Frisco, you could take the DNT service road up to 380 if you want to avoid tolls. It should be much lighter traffic going north. Don't take 423 because it is under construction right now.
