Default Looking for a Home in Frisco/Plano

Hi,

Me and my hubby are in the market looking for our 1st house. We both have been living in dallas for about 3 years now. We are renting till now. Looking at the housing market and inventory we thought this might be a right time.
As we are buying our 1st home...we really are learning a lot everyday. I have been reading this forum and it is very helpful. I want your insights on my situation.
We have a kid and now our budget is 275 - 280 max...
the Areas we are looking in are Frisco and plano and fairly new homes( new or 3...4) year old.
our lookout is for a good neighborhood with good schools and good community facilities, and move in ready type homes...
It's indeed very confusing to decide and be 100% sure about the house and the community.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!!

I would recommend checking out Murphy as well. Plano being pretty much built out, you will not find anything too new in your price range. Frisco has tons on the market but I would recommend it if you were going to stay long term as that part of town is struggling with lots of inventory. However, you would have a lot to choose from right now.

There are also homes that are in the city of Plano, but Frisco ISD.

I am also in the same place as the original poster, i have visited about 10 builders in the past few weeks.
I have narrowed down to Pulte homes, Ashton Woods and Centex

Any insight would gladly be appreciated !
