Don't go to UNT - UTD is a superior choice by far, espcially for CompSci. I went to UNT, so feel free to private message me for more details!

I went to UNT as well and certainly think while UTD has a better reputation, it isn't far superior. Both are definitely considered lower tier schools compared to bigger schools in the state (UT, A&M, Baylor, TTU, SMU, TCU, etc.).

For Computer Science:

UT = 9
A&M = 40
UT-Dallas = 70
UT-Arlington = 90
SMU = 112
Baylor = Not Listed
TTU = Outside top 120
TCU = Not Listed
UNT = Outside top 120

OP, for the DFW area, UT-Dallas would be your best option followed by UT-Arlington, SMU, UNT
