Is there a big high school football scene in Rockwall and/or Rockwall-Heath high schools? Is that something the community does on Friday nights?

Rockwall is a big enough town that no, the entire community doesn't pack the football stadium like on Friday Night Lights. But yes, games do draw a good crowd of parents and high school students.

Is there a big difference between the two high schools in the football arena?

Almost any large high school in Texas is going to have some emphisis on their football program...I mean, we're in Texas. Rockwall's program isn't anything special though. The top area programs are going to be (in to particular order):

Allen
Southlake Carroll
Highland Park
Plano Sr.
Cedar Hill
Trinity

Rockwall and Heath have decent football teams. Last years Rockwall team was very talented and they made a good run in the playoffs. They will not be as good as last year but they still have a good team. Rockwall Heath plays in a lower division and they have been pretty good in the lower division. I believe they are ranked in the top 15 in the DFW area. They both are solid programs but nothing special.

I've never seen a team called the Yellow Jackets whose school colors were orange.
