Hi,

We are a family with a 1 yr old kid moving from Philadelphia to Irving by Aug 1st week.
My work place would be "Verizon" at 700 Hidden Ridge, Irving. Zip code = 75038
I was wondering if you can recommend any good apartments preferably with some good things like as follows:

1) Good Indian community
2) Kid friendly -- preferably play area / play park inside the apartment complex
3) Washer & Dryer inside the unit.
4) Proximity to best preschools in Irving vicinity
5) Proximity to my office.

Thanks & Regards

Look in zip code 75063. Very heavily populated Indian area. It is North Irving and has many nice family friendly apartments.

Here is list of some of good apartments in the area.

1. Archstone at Macarthur ( 1/2 Mile)
2. Allura ( royal and macarthur intersection)
3. Verendah at valley ranch
4. Marquis at Riverchase
5. Landings at LaVillita

There are many apartments in the area on hidden ridge close to Jefferson park

Dont worry about Indian community in the area, there are 8 places that sell biryani in 5 mile radius, just to give you a rough idea of indian community in the area.

Welcome to Irving! TheTXGuyHere has a good list. Irving has a vibrant Indian community which is quite welcome (if anything, non-Indians in town tend to wish folks were a little less clannish and more willing to talk to others outside their community). One thing I would advise for working on Hidden Ridge is that a localized commute won't be bad, but that if your commute will let you come up from the south rather than 114, your commute will be a little more pleasant -- the 114/MacArthur interchange can be a bit of a pain right at peak commute times.
