Please give me any information on any elementary schools in Wylie Texas. Which is the best, worst?

Thank you! I'll have to look up which schools are where. I'm going to Wylie for the first time Saturday.

Tibbals is the best elementary school in Wylie ISD, it is located in the city of Murphy though. My son attends Tibbals and the teachers and principal are outstanding.

I disagree about the schools east of 78 not being as good. My kids attend Watkins and we love it. We needed a bigger home so we are building right around the corner from where we live now in order to stay in Watkins school zone. I wouldn't send them anywhere else if we could help it.

I would stay away from Hartman, Groves and Akin. They are not bad but I just know of friends who haven't been 100% satisfied at those schools.

Other than Watkins, I hear wonderful things about Cox, Tibbals and Whitt.

Hi neighbor! I live in Bozman Farms and we are zoned to Watkins. Yep. Agree with this one. While my kids are not in Wylie schools, we have a tutor for our 13 year old, and she subs at most of the Wylie schools. Wally Watkins is the only one on the east side that she approves of.

I know this wasn't asked, but I've heard that Burnett and Harrison are not that great, so keep that in mind.
