Well most apartments for people that arent rich is about with 2 bedrooms are about 1000-1200 sft.

I rented a beautiful 2-2 condo with an attached garage that was only 1000 sq ft. It was the opposite of "ghetto."

I owned a house in Europe that had 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and was 900 square feet. Didn't feel cramped either. Of course one the bedrooms was only 6'x7'....in Texas, we call that a closet.
