Anyone local download and use the Ipad app for FoxSports to watch the Rangers if you are not at home/local?

I am in FL and can't get the games here until I pay a pretty penny for Fios package...

They block it out. You'll be forced to use the MLB At Bat app.

actually the price is better if you use the MLB app on a Roku and I brought my Roku stick...
just forgot it offered the MLB channel

if Rangers go into playoffs, I will stop my app payment which is monthly and go to the Roku MLB option
great way to watch while I am in Florida

Don't know if I can find the Cowboys via my Sony smart DVD or will have to use the FoxGo app on my Ipad or maybe the Roku...
NFL has open streaming this year--no blackouts via Internet streaming--but getting best option is challenge

Not an expert, but would it be possible for the OP to use a VPN that has a local (to DFW) server to be able to stream these games? I know it works for int'l content, but not sure how sophisticated or not the US streaming providers are w blocking that sort of stuff.

Good suggestion--
I have a VPN and it has options for several countries to mask location...
I use it to watch BBC programming from that website mainly
I have used it as a security option as well when traveling with the US option.

But it didn't seem to work when I tried to watch Rangers using it alone--
maybe just my ignorance at how to use it effectively...
there is nothing to tie it into the DFW market--
I also have the UVerse app for remote watching while on my home wi-fi network--
that works good when I am in the utility room ironing and want to watch something on cable vs Netflix or another streaming site...
but it doesn't work if I am off my home network...

We also have a Slingbox One we bought last fall for my husband to use to watch Cowboy games but that requires mirroring from his laptop--and he has it in TX--
and while I can connect my IPad to it (I believe) it has to be done on same wi-fi network the slingbox is hooked to....and I didn't do that before I left...
