Can someone recommend an affordable dentist in Frisco area? I have no dental insurance and need some work done. Seems like all the dentists I've seen so far are mostly interested in cosmetic work and want to charge arm and leg. It's not that I don't want to pay, I just want to find someone who is reasonable... Please help!!!!

If you're not in a super-hurry and can be patient, one lower-cost dental option is to become a patient at the Baylor School of Dentistry Clinic in Dallas. While you may receive treatment by a dentist-in-training, they are highly supervised by expert faculty and I've heard people have been pleased with the costs & results.

Biggest downside is that it can take a bit to get your appointment due to patients scheduled ahead of you.

Here's their website for more info: Becoming a Patient

Lakeside Dental on Eldorado just east of Hart Rd, in Little Elm, gives a nice discount for paying cash/credit card. I have been going there for 3 yrs and am very satisfied. They don't try to sell you a bunch if procedures, just what you need.

Don't fall for dentists who are after insurance money and get deep into your pocket books. They are nothing but a disgrace and provide disservice to the patients...

My recommendations are these two folks, you can't go wrong with them..
Dr. Aparna Angadi in Frisco - Her top ratings speaks for itself..Frisco, TX Dentist | Dr. Aparna Angadi | Family Dentist | Dentist in Frisco, TX | 75035
Dr. Madhav in Plano, Dentist Plano TX | Cosmetic Dentistry | Family Dental Care

VS Dental in Frisco it is!

I have been Dr Sokransky's patient for about 7 years myself. Prior to opening his own office, he was with another practice in Plano. I became his patient with friend's referral and never regretted. Never felt like a number and was always provided excellent Dental services. Oh, I forgot to mention I am self employed and don't have dental insurance. Doctor always worked on the price with me. Give them a shot! Their practice website is VS Dental Dentist in Frisco

Dr. Patrick Jones in Irving (HOME - patrickjone55003705-185596-sml-1) is a very good and compassionate dentist. Staff is very friendly. Infact, one of the dentist family goes to him. That can speak volumes of him. I wish he had an office in Plano/Frisco area...
