What would a 4500 to 5000 sq ft home rent for in the Southlake area? what are the typical lease terms in Dallas? Do people ever rent a home with such large space? Please advise, thanks.

The large the home usually the longer the lease term. People often rent large homes in Dallas, especially in desirable areas like Southlake. I would think a 2+ year lease would be pretty easy to get on a house of that size, those most leases tend to be for 1 year. Knowing the value of the house would make an estimate on what you could ask for rent much easier. It could go anywhere from $2500-$8000 a month depending on the actual value of the home.

The value of the home is going to be 750K to 800K, fairly new home.

You're probably looking anywhere from 6000-6500 a month then.
