For all my Jews ( or those who happen know the answer)

For the upcoming Jewish holiday of yum kippur I would like to hear the shofar, which synagogue would be welcoming to me attending services we'd night ?
I am in plano ( I guess north west)
We are not super religious, we don't keep kosher or shabbas, but We do observe a majority of the holidays especially the high holidays

We don't belong to any congregation and this is our first year outside of NY ( in NY our local synagogue was open to all )

Thanks

Anshai Torah is a Conservative shul on Parker Rd between Preston and the Tollway- 973-473-7718

Adat Chaverim is located further north on Spring Creek-Reform congregation-sorry, I don't have their phone number

I suggest you call on Monday to check times and how they run the services

Good luck getting tickets. You might have to be ok with a satelite place watching it on TV. Many of the synagogues sell out well in advance.

Call Shir Tikvah in Frisco. I know they are still selling tickets for high holidays. They are a small reform temple. The people are very friendly!

I met the Rabbi of the Dallas Chabad house / synagouge (I am not Jewish and don't know the terminology well).

Anyways, he was good humored and very personable. He told me his congregation was eclectic and included some fully committed hassidics hassidim (?), more secular jews, and some spiritual wanderers who were not jewish at all.

My guess is that he would accomodate you if at all possible.
