PISD - Jasper - Housing (Plano, Point: apartments, to rent, condos)

Hey all. I am trying to help a friend out. She is renting off McDermott and Indy.

She is looking to rent or buy at $1000-$1200 per month and keep her kiddo zoned to Jasper. Any suggestions. I told her about Deerfield Point or whatever that is at Hedgecoxe and Ohio but she said that is FISD.

Are there condos zoned to Jasper. She just needs 2bdr? I am about to hit Google but but wanted to ask you all "the masses". She also said Ohio and Quincy is also FISD.

Any ideas?

There website says PISD and Jasper but always good to double check with PISD, realtors don't always know these details and sometimes aren't straightforward so they'll just list nearest school assuming home feeds to it.

According to the PISD map, Hedgcoxe @ Ohio is FBISD, but Quincy@Ohio is PISD (though the northern district boundary is not too far north of that intersection).

I'm not sure if something has changed from a couple of years ago? My daughter is now senior at PWHS, but we live in almost the same area as your friend according to your description. My dtr went to Jasper too. Unless your friend feels she needs to move this area is already zoned out to Jasper. But it's always a good idea to check with the school and to check if there is a bus ride (there should be bus for >3.5 miles distance you are talking about).
